The Open Pillow Block Air Bearing, offered in 1 inch and ½ inch sizes, fulfills motion control needs requiring precision over longer distances compared to other rail guide solutions. The shaft with rail support offers increased rigidity compared to a bare shaft, minimizing deflections and maintaining straightness for longer length applications to a tolerance of .001 inch per 12 inches. As with all OAV air bearings, no lubrication is ever needed over the life of the bearing, increasing reliability and reducing bearing maintenance needs.
