OAV Tapered Roller Air Bearings are a first-of-their-kind solution designed to replace conventional tapered roller bearings with true non-contact air film operation. By adapting tapered roller geometry to advanced porous graphite air bearing technology, these bearings eliminate friction, wear, and lubrication—while maintaining high stiffness and precision under load.

Designed for opposing-pair configurations on a shaft, pressurized air is delivered through internal channels to create a stable, uniform air film between the inner assembly and outer cage. This enables smooth, high-precision rotational motion with exceptional runout performance and long-term reliability.
